Ionut Danaila attended the 17th European Turbulence Conference”, Torino (September 3-6, 2019) where he presented new simulations of Quantum Turbulence based on the Gross-Pitaevskii model. The conference was a great opportunity to discuss with other scientists working in the area of superfluids and Quantum turbulence.
Five QUTE-members (Marc Brachet, Ionut Danaila, Emmanuel Lévêque, Corenthin Lothodé and Francky Luddens) are back from Toronto, where they attended the workshop Scientific Computing Across Scales: Quantum Systems in Cold-matter Physics and Chemistry (April 22-26, 2019).
It was an intense week of scientific exchanges and discoveries of the nice city of Toronto and its surroundings. This post is a great opportunity to share some pictures.
Ionut Danaila, Yongyong Cai (Beijing) and Yvon Maday (UPMC, Paris) will organize a workshop at the Fields Institute (Toronto), entitled Scientific Computing Across Scales: Quantum Systems in Cold-matter Physics and Chemistry (April 22-26, 2019).
This event is part of a retrospective on the 2016 Fields Thematic Program on Multiscale Scientific …
